People can be sooo cruel

One of my friends that rides mine and my sister's bus is a bullying victim.  The bully is a girl that has picked on both I and my sister since middle school.  Both of us have ignored her, however our friend has already had a rough life, not getting along with her family, friends committing suicide etc...
She already has enough trouble in her life, without the rude remarks made by the bullies (All of which are preppy girls in the age rang of 15-17).  You might wonder why I'm posting this, after all what happens in my life is not anyone's business but mine, however I feel that I need to share my experiences.

These girls have repeatedly been degrading and hurtful to both I and my group of friends, doing such things as throwing spitballs, half eaten candy, chewed bubble gum at us, and saying things not limited to 'go die would you?' and 'f*ing ugly b*'.  I've got high enough self confidence to let it roll of my back... my friends however are not the same. 

I'm writing this as away of asking people to be kinder to others, especially thought not limited to people in my age group.  I'm simply trying to help others realize that sometimes you need to think before you speak.

I'm not trying to anger anyone so please don't take it personally when I refer to preps in a bad way, I simply haven't had any good experiences with them.  They seem to be back stabbers more than anything else in my own experience.             

The Call

Hi, My name's Kaleigh this will be my first post,
So I guess I should start by telling you who I am...
where to start..

I'm the 18 year old daughter of Kay and Tony (surfindaddy and leftbrainfemale perhaps you remember them).  I'm a budding artist, a Christian, and a believer in the fact that this country has taken a turn for the worst.  I'll tell you right now that if you are looking for some one whose on the side of our current president, I am not the one for you.  However if you want to hear the views of a proud young republican who truly believes in this country keep listening.  I'm not saying that everything I post will relate to politics, however I won't back down either.  Blame it on the Crawford blood in me, What else can I say besides I take after my mom.
I also realize that the idea of a conservative artist, is rather strange in this world.  Seems to fit me well though, I've lived my whole life being looked at as weird so there's no reason to stop now.  I believe strongly in the fact that the reason our country has turned for the worst is found in the fact that out of all voting Americans only a small handful actually stop to think about what their party stands for, and even less truly research their parties candidate.  This is a massive problem because so many times the candidate they vote for has done nothing but lie and cheat.  This has nothing to do with race, gender, or ethnicity, it has to do with how much we as a people love our country.  If we could learn to see things from the eyes of an eagle we would realize that this, our great nation has no real boundaries.  Because to an Eagle soaring above the earth there are no fences too high and no dreams too far out of reach,  this is why our forefathers chose such a bird.  Not to represent power, but to show future generations what it means to be free.
I keep hoping that one day other young Americans will realize the truth, stand together and take back the true meaning of our once proud country and make it gleam with pride once again.  I start this blog as a message to those who care, Stand together with me and help our people to realize the true meaning of America...
